  • There is so much entertainment in Chalet Bonnepierre that you may find it difficult to pull yourself away!
  • Spa facilities: The hot tub and the steam room (this coming summer) are for your private use: a good way to relax after skiing or hiking. Non skiers will be able to enjoy the benefits of water massage or steam bathing at anytime.
  • Music at the chalet: Musicians will appreciate the Pleyel piano: nothing better to entertain your friends or family! As an alternative, you can plug your iPod into the brand new sound system and listen to your favourite hits from the sitting room’s or the spa’s loudspeakers.
  • Television:

    The TV lounge was designed for your privacy. Film enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a movie on satellite TV or on DVD, while others might prefer to relax around a nice log fire.

Sun Stages and Mini Cat’s:

In the summer, a week of intense exercising organised and monitored by ESF ski instructors. Children will practise five different activities among the following: kart racing, rafting, canoeing, tree climbing, archery, roller skating, trampoline, outdoor climbing, clay pigeon shooting. More

Ski and snowboard:

L’Alpe d’Huez ski terrain combines extensive, gentle nursery slopes next to the resort and long steep black runs for expert skiers or boarders, higher up in the mountains. It has an excellent lift system with extensive skiing for all abilities. The famous Piste de Sarenne is without doubt one of the most beautiful and memorable runs in the Alps.

Après ski:

L’Alpe d’Huez is full of action with lots of live music. You can choose from an array of restaurants, cafes, bars, discos, and two cinemas.


L’Alpe d’Huez offers extensive leisure facilities, good child care, and lively nightlife. This makes l’Alpe d’Huez a superb resort for families, in the winter as well as in the summer.
During the ski season, the resort boasts great snow conditions including in the spring, with the numerous snowmakers throughout the slopes. The chalet is located right on the pistes at an altitude of 1880m, allowing you to ski down to Les Bergers main gondolas and ski schools in less than two minutes.
In the summer, the chalet is an ideal starting point for hiking or mountain bike riding. Located in the Grandes Rousses Mountain range, it is also a shelter for numerous mountain animals such as polar hares, ptarmigans, buzzards, ermines or marmots.
Snowmap interactive system : in the winter, Snowmap provides information about pistes and ski lifts openings in l’Alpe d’Huez. In the summer Snowmap shows all mountain bike trails in the area.
